Bright Minds Build Bright Futures - Fully funded places available
As part of SKILL UP, this programme is supported by the flexible skills fund supported by the Department for the Economy. The course has been designed to provide additional upskilling and reskilling opportunities, focused on supporting individuals to engage in learning and improve the skills profile of our manufacturing industry. Through the Queen’s University Bright Minds initiative there are a limited number of fully funded places available on the programme for the September 2022 intake.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the entry criteria for the course and be:
- over 18 years of age
- eligible to work in Northern Ireland
- settled in Northern Ireland, and has been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years; or
- is a person who has indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK

The Advanced Manufacturing Leadership Programme is designed to develop the critical skills, practical management and leadership competencies of manufacturing sector supervisors working on the production front line.
This programme is developed in partnership with experts from the Centre for Competitiveness, CforC. This is an immersive five month programme delivered over 16 days on campus at The William J. Clinton Leadership Institute, Riddel Hall and at the Northern Ireland Technology Centre, Stranmillis. Our Clinton Leadership Institute Learning Management System will support your learning throughout with videos, podcasts and reading materials.
