What are past participants saying about this programme?
“The Mini MBA course was a truly inspirational experience. The structure of online sessions, pre-reading and peer group work enabled me to maximise my learning, and I must say I found the course materials invaluable. The tutors were personable and highly experienced, hitting just the right balance of engagement and information delivery. I am looking forward to the practical implementation of a number of the insights I have gained, as we steer a path out of the Covid-19 crisis.” Michele Devlin - Director, Belfast Film Festival
“The Mini MBA programme promised much in the brochure, and I am pleased to say it delivered much more than the promise. The online teaching format was easy to follow, expertly delivered and dovetailed with gripping case studies. The ongoing reading resources were plentiful and thought provoking. Finally the tasks conducted within the break out rooms and working groups brought a practical focus to the theory, and a collective motivation to the participants. A thoroughly enjoyable and immersive experience. Thank You!" Padraig Donnelly - Director, Landerg Manufacturing Ltd
“The mini MBA course was great & I really enjoyed it. I learned so much, not just from the excellent knowledgeable tutors, but also those within my consultancy group and other participants. It provided me with a great insight into all aspects of a business & has equipped me with the fundamentals to run a successful company and the know-how to be more confident in driving my self-employed business forward, especially during these uncertain times. The modules were very well structured & delivered & I found the financial one extremely valuable to me as I had little knowledge in this area before. I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone who needs a deep-dive into the essentials for running a successful business.” Dee Hamill - Owner, Dee Hamill Nutrition

The Programme at a Glance
Day 1: Leadership, disrupted |
This session examines the shifting perspective on what it takes to be a leader in the 4th Industrial Revolution. We begin by sharing a model of leadership that speaks to creating Direction, Alignment and Commitment and supports the concept of leaders at all levels. In this new world we are now also seeing a paradigm shift in the way that organizations balance stability and dynamism as they move to more agile organisational designs. |

Day 2: Markets & Strategy |
In this session we emphasise the importance of business strategy and of being committed to thinking about your focus going forward. We examine the value you create as a business, as a department and even at the individual level. We consider how the traditional view of strategy is evolving towards a focus on core competencies and coherence. |
Day 3: Finance & Commerce |
Day 3 is all about helping you to tell the story of a company through its numbers. This module will provide you with the essential knowledge of key financial management issues and concepts that are needed to be successful in your role. |
Day 4: People & Performance |
While the 4th Industrial Revolution is bringing huge disruption to every aspect of life –it is also having an impact on work, workers and employers triggering a shift in the psychological contract. During Day 4 we take a look at some of these emerging trends regarding how organisations are rethinking their approach to people and performance management. |
Day 5: Case Study |
The final day is all about you. This is where your consulting team gets the chance to draw together your learning from the Programme. Each team presents the findings and recommendations from the case study to the facilitators and receive feedback. We finish the course with some exercises to wrap up the case study and close out the group. |
